I often hear that eating healthy is too expensive or too time consuming. I hear you – many, if not all of us, feel constrained by time and our financial budgets. I recognize that without proper planning and preparation, healthy eating can be expensive – but it doesn’t need to be. A great tip to save money while eating...
OH HEY THERE!
I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach and self-confessed wellness enthusiast.
I take a holistic approach to healing – food is a BIG part of balanced living BUT healthy thoughts and mindful movement are also (equally) BIG parts in any sustainable, healthy & balanced lifestyle.
My personal health journey hasn’t been easy – I have struggled with food sensitivities, body hatred, eating disorders, depression, irritability & moodiness and years of unexplained stomach pain. I can now see that through each struggle there was a lesson.
It was through each step of my journey that I was able to heal my body and my mind. It hasn’t been easy (and there are days when I still struggle), but putting in the work has been so worth it.
You already know this, but – our bodies are powerful vessels, that when properly nourished, have this amazing ability to heal. Each of us has this same power to heal our bodies and our minds. We are capable of self-love, balanced living and feeling great (every day) – sometimes we just need a reminder.
My passion for healthful living & self-love has been inspired by my past experiences.
My struggles, my experiences & my journey are what make me unique. And this is exactly what inspires me to help others who may be going through something similar.
As a Health Coach, I guide women to develop & deepen their self-love practices and (re)balance their diets.
My philosophy is a holistic one – in every coaching relationship we explore food, lifestyle choices & self-talk. Together, we authentically find and integrate habits that support YOU to feel your best – physically and emotionally.
I work with women in one-on-one coaching programs, co-host seasonal retreats and lead health & wellness workshops.
My purpose is to authentically share my experiences to inspire & help women to heal their relationship with food and their bodies.
Have you ever read the ingredient lists and nutrition labels of granola at your local grocery store? From what I’ve seen most, if not all, are filled with sugar, processed ingredients and preservatives. My advice? Make your own granola at home. This granola recipe is a staple at my house (and no, I’m not just saying that). The nutty...read more
Since being dairy-free, I have found that one of the most difficult things to substitute has been yogurt – nothing seems to be the right taste, texture or consistency. But I think I have created an even better alternative and I am so excited to share it with you! This cashew “yogurt” is so rich, creamy and delicious – I...read more
Consistency is key to building and sustaining healthy habits and that’s why I am a big advocate for morning and nighttime routines (check out my previous post on My Morning Routine). I believe that a mindful morning routine sets the tone of your whole day and I also believe that a nourishing evening routine impacts the quality of your sleep. A...read more
